Is black stool normal for a 14 month toddler? - my stool is black how can i make it normal

If the child received a large amount of iron in your diet? The tanner features are very rich in iron, when a child consumes a lot of them can be black stools or cereal for children. If the child is still nursing, the mother of a sudden increase in iron intake (vitamins)? It may be a sign of blood in the stool, as mentioned above. If this happens again, or would call with a consistency that I understand the doc. Good luck!

Black stool can indicate blood in the stool, or perhaps ask your doctor to check. It could be pursuing food, including what he / she eats to keep, especially if the stools black. it is something else, so the blood do not panic. It is only worth a try.
